About the Chafee center
The John H. Chafee Center for International Business supports Bryant University's mission of providing undergraduate, graduate, and professional education programs through collaborations with faculty and students. Through global market research, corporate training, and strategic consulting, the Chafee Center helps companies get products and services to more customers around the world. The Center assists more than 200 companies each year.
The Chafee Center is a living business laboratory where students apply what they learn through real-world business research, analysis, and planning. With the guidance of faculty and staff, students participate in projects, directed studies, and internships.
The Chafee Center provides comprehensive international trade services to help businesses expand into international markets. The Center has an extensive network of strategic partners around the world.
Students enrolled in the International Business program, as part of the senior year “IB practicum,” work on real-world consulting projects for Chafee Center partner companies . They conduct research, analysis, and develop actionable strategic plans.
STEP (State Trade and Export Promotion) is a federally funded program, managed by the Chafee Center, to help eligible small businesses expand their exports. Contact the Chafee Center for details.
