a message from provost glenn sulmasy
Bryant is committed to the pursuit of academic excellence and continuous innovation for faculty and students. We celebrate intellectual curiosity and interdisciplinary learning that breaks through traditional academic boundaries.
At Bryant, we define innovation as a purposeful, creative process initiated to drive solutions that address the needs of society and add value in the marketplace. That is Bryant’s tradition as an institution, and it is what we teach our students. A Bryant education integrates business and the arts and sciences in a way that reflects how the world works. Student-faculty research, internships, study abroad, and co-curricular opportunities are just a few of the ways that students can apply what they learn beyond the classroom.
It is an exciting time to be at Bryant University. Dedicated faculty, state-of-the-art facilities and technology, and global connections are available to students as they prepare for success in a world of unlimited opportunity.
Provost Glenn M. Sulmasy, J.D., LL.M., is Bryant University's Provost and Chief Academic Officer. He holds institutional responsibility for allocating resources within academic affairs, and has ultimate responsibility for all aspects of Bryant's academic programs.

Bryant University's learning environment focuses on applied scholarship, values creativity, and encourages collaboration among faculty, staff, and students.
