Experiential Learning

Aix en Provence market

At Bryant, we focus on the richness and expertise of knowledge that is gained through experiential learning. Here are just a few ways in which students put their learning to work:

Study Abroad

  • Study a full semester in Aix-en-Provence (pictured above) through Bryant's extensive study abroad program.
  • Immersive study abroad can include an internship with local companies, using French language skills.
  • Choose a short-term, faculty-led program for a quicker experience at the start or end of a semester.

Research

  • Present original research at Research and Engagement Day, known as REDay
  • Bryant Honors Program
  • Participate in the annual Reading Without Borders event

Aix-en-Provence

Students may study abroad in the city of Aix (pronounced like the letter "X"), where they find traditional French culture amid the appeal and elegance of a large metropolis. The historic town is known for its beloved painter, Paul Cézanne, who painted the surrounding rolling landscape.
