Professional Communication
Overview
An interest area
No matter what profession you intend to enter, being able to write and present in a clear and effective manner will put you at the front of the pack.
How do you develop the poise, organizational skills, and technical know-how to get your point across in meetings, reports, or one-to-one conversations? Classes in small-group communication, public speaking, and video-mediated communication will help you get there.
Bryant’s state-of-the-art television studio and teleconferencing capabilities allow you to practice in front of the camera, eliminating those on-air jitters before your professional debut.
Future careers, post-grad opportunities
Professional Communication will be useful in every job. Some specifically related professions include executive manager, personnel manager, director of corporate communication, human resources manager, negotiator, and industrial and labor relations representative. You will also be well prepared for graduate studies.
