Information for International Admitted Students
Congratulations on being admitted to Bryant University!
Your next steps
Begin making arrangements to book your plane tickets as soon as you have submitted these documents. The nearest airport is the Providence T.F. Green International Airport.
Step 4: Scholarships - Merit and athletic scholarships, if you received either, were announced with your letter of admission.
Step 5: Arrival on the Bryant campus - International students are invited to arrive early on the Bryant campus for 4MILE, a special program designed to help with the transition to living in the United States. This program takes place in the days just before Move In Day
Orientation is a two-day program for incoming first-year students that is held on the Bryant campus in June.
In addition, 4MILE offers additional ways to connect to resources and networks you'll need to succeed at Bryant.
Bryant pairs incoming international students with current ones. This allows you to ask all of your questions about living at Bryant and in the United States of someone who has already gone through it! You will receive an email about the matching system shortly after your letter of admission.
Office of International Students and Scholars
The Office of International Students and Scholars (OISS) serves as a resource for you by advocating and providing essential services to assist, educate, and support your educational and professional pursuits.
Living at Bryant
You will be given a housing assignment by Bryant; your roommate will be selected for you based on the Roommate Matching Form, included in your Admission packet.
Bryant is located in Smithfield, RI, and the public bus system (RIPTA) keeps students well-connected. Students can take the bus to the nearby Lincoln Mall where they can shop at stores like Target or HomeGoods, go grocery shopping at Stop & Shop, or pick up a bite to eat at Chili's, Asia Grille, and Five Guys Burgers.
