Information for Admitted Students
I HAVE MY DECISION. NOW WHAT?
Congratulations! In a few months you will be completing your senior year of high school and beginning a new journey on our campus. Here is some important information, along with dates you should keep in mind:
ENROLLMENT DEPOSIT
For early action and regular decision candidates, enrollment deposits are due by May 1, 2013. For early decision II, deposits are due by March 11, 2013.
The deposit form is included in your acceptance package, or you can deposit online.
FINANCIAL AID AND SCHOLARSHIPS
If you are applying for need-based financial and submitted the FAFSA4caster to the Office of Financial Aid, an estimated financial aid package should have accompanied your decision letter. Estimates will be finalized mid-March, once the FAFSA is completed and received by the Office of Financial Aid.
Early Decision I admitted students receiving scholarships are notified of their award in the acceptance letter. Please contact (800) 622-7001 or (401) 232-6100 with questions about your award or the review process.

for you to discover firsthand what is so distinctive about our close-knit learning community and the transformative Bryant experience. Here are just a few:
- FACEBOOK: Discover more about Bryant, and about the incoming first-year students who will become a part of your new Bryant family. Join the Facebook group for Bryant’s Class of 2017 and look for frequent behind-the-scenes updates regarding what’s happening on campus. Join and meet your future classmates.
- VIDEOS: Enjoy a wide variety of short videos about many aspects of life at Bryant and the initiatives of our campus community. Visit www.bryant.edu/videos. You can also watch videos posted by current students on YouTube.
- BRYANT UNIVERSITY MASCOT TUPPER: Bryant has the very best mascot, and he is YOUR mascot. From sporting and academic events to community service, our favorite English bulldog, Ironclad Tupper I, is there for Bryant! Tupper is a certified pet-assisted therapy dog, and holds a distinguished Bryant honorary degree, Class of 2010. Like him on Facebook to learn more.
- DAY WITH CLASS: Get a closer look at the Bryant experience by spending a day with one of our students. Attend a class, take a tour, and enjoy lunch with current students in our dining halls. This program is offered in February, March, and April.
- BRYANT 360: Make plans now to join us on Wednesday, February 20; Friday, February 22; or Friday, March 29. Bryant 360 begins at 9 a.m. and concludes at approximately 3:15 p.m. The program offers simulated classes, information about career services, and parent sessions focusing on financial aid.
- LADIES NIGHT: Want to know what it’s like to be among the Bryant students who are women? You can find out at this special overnight program held on Tuesday, February 19, and Wednesday, February 27.
- BRYANT 101: Offered on Saturday, March 23, and Monday, April 15 (afternoon event), this event provides the opportunity for you to hear a panel discussion about academics and student life at Bryant. Refreshments and campus tours are provided too.
- ADMITTED STUDENT OPEN HOUSE: We hope you can join us on Saturday, April 6, at Bryant’s Open House just for Admitted Students. The day begins at 9 a.m. with registration and continental breakfast; includes a welcome by Bryant University President Ronald K. Machtley, academic program information, a student organization fair, and more. Lunch is provided, and the program will conclude at approximately 2:30 p.m. If you are unable to attend the Admitted Student Open House, please make plans to visit during one of our Admitted Student days in April.
- FOLLOW BRYANT ADMISSION ON TWITTER: Keep up with current events on campus.
- VISIT: If you haven’t already joined us for a student-guided campus tour and an information session presented by a member of the admission staff, please schedule one at your first opportunity. For your convenience, we offer tours and information sessions Monday-Friday and on Saturday too.

ACADEMIC ADVISER
Once you submit your enrollment deposit, A letter will be sent to you introducing you to your Bryant Academic Adviser. These are professional staff members who will work closely with you throughout your college career. If you are still undecided about your major, learn more about the programs offered by the College of Arts and Sciences and College of Business.
RESIDENCE LIFE
You will receive your housing information (including the roommate matching form) about two weeks after we receive your enrollment deposit. We encourage you to complete these forms as soon as possible, so we can process your request. Housing is assigned based on the date of deposit. If you have any questions, please contact the Office of Residence Life at (401) 232-6140.
SUMMER ORIENTATION
Bryant offers a comprehensive summer orientation program each June. The exciting two-day program offers a broad overview of life at Bryant and gives students the opportunity to register for their fall classes. Those who are unable to attend will be registered for classes by an academic adviser.
There is a special summer orientation program, 4MILE@bryant, geared to help international and multicultural students acclimate to the Bryant campus and life in the United States. The students have the opportunity to move in early and get acquainted with their new home.
