Through its videoconference facility, we connect classrooms to their peers around the world. In addition, the Verizon Center conducts on-going "Teaching With Technology" programs with local schools to help teachers develop distance learning approaches and websites for their classrooms. Also, the university has recently obtained a General Electric grant to assist local schools in accelerating math skill development.
