To prepare leaders who will meet the emerging needs of the 21 ^st century, for more than a decade Bryant’s nationally recognized curriculum has blended the liberal arts with business, all with an unwavering focus on character and ethics.

Bryant’s bold strategic course has focused on purposefully integrating global thinking throughout the Bryant experience. “Today’s students graduate into a changing world full of new challenges and unlimited global opportunities,” says University President Ronald K. Machtley.

“Technology has shrunk the planet. Globalization has made it more interdependent. Centers of power and influence are shifting. The need for principled leaders has never been greater. And Bryant is responding to these challenges.”

A Bridge between the us and China

Since 2005, the U.S.-China Institute at Bryant has forged partnerships that offer students and faculty broad global perspectives and experiences. Our plans for reconstruction of the Shu Fang Zhai building, a section of the Chinese Forbidden City, on the Smithfield campus are ongoing.

To further develop the bridge between Bryant and China and provide the University with an international presence few institutions can boast, Bryant has entered into a preliminary agreement with the Beijing Institute of Technology, Zhuhai. If we can bring our plans to fruition, Bryant University Zhuhai will provide the University with a tangible presence in one of the world’s fastest growing economic centers.
