SOPHoMORE INT'L EXPERIENCE
A global perspective is a prerequisite for success, and Bryant’s innovative Sophomore International Experience (SIE) is reinventing study abroad. The three-credit SIE focuses on intensive trips in the winter and summer. During the semester before they go abroad, students take a course on the region they will visit and the topics they will explore there.Learn More
A Bridge between the us and China
Since 2005, the U.S.-China Institute at Bryant has forged partnerships that offer students and faculty broad global perspectives and experiences. Our plans for reconstruction of the Shu Fang Zhai building, a section of the Chinese Forbidden City, on the Smithfield campus are ongoing.
To further develop the bridge between Bryant and China and provide the University with an international presence few institutions can boast, Bryant has entered into a preliminary agreement with the Beijing Institute of Technology, Zhuhai. If we can bring our plans to fruition, Bryant University Zhuhai will provide the University with a tangible presence in one of the world’s fastest growing economic centers.Learn More

SHU FANG ZHAI
Bryant President Ronald K. Machtley has announced that the first authentic reconstruction of the Forbidden City's Shu Fang Zhai to be built outside of China, with the permission and cooperation of the Chinese government, will be built on the Bryant campus.Learn More
