Parking & Public Safety
Visitor Parking
Visitors should stop at the Entry Control Station (a small station with a Stop sign next to it at the beginning of the Bryant University drive) and request a parking permit. Visitors will be directed to designated parking, available from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Friday.
The permit should be hung on the rearview mirror in plain view; it is valid only on the date indicated.
Student Parking
All Bryant students are allowed to park their car on campus for free.
Incoming freshmen will register their vehicle with DPS during Move-In Weekend.
Safety
At Bryant, we are committed to your safety. The Department of Public Safety is available 24 hours a day. Bryant's combination of location and commitment to keeping students safe makes the University one of the safest campuses in the country.
The department's 24 full-time staff members - including 20 patrol officers and command staff - are trained to enforce campus rules and regulations as well as local, state, and federal laws. Officers patrol the campus 24 hours a day, 7 days a week - on foot, bicycle, or motor vehicle - and monitor the premises at fixed posts including the Entry Control Station at the main entrance to the campus.
A park and drive “at your own risk” policy is in effect at all times. DPS officers patrol parking areas and roadways on a regular basis but the university cannot give unconditional guarantee of security and is not responsible for personal injury, damage or theft of vehicles or belongings.
