Women in Finance panel features four successful Bryant alumnae
In the world of finance, you’ll find few women. A 2012 Harvard Business School study noted that the percentage of female senior investment professions was “stuck in the single digits,” and that women make up only 17 to 23 percent of all employees in the finance sector.
Since then, the numbers have grown, but only incrementally. Bryant University and alumna of its finance program (recently ranked No. 11 in the nation by College Factual) are taking steps to bring more women into the field. On March 24, as part of Alumni Engagement Day, four alumnae will return to Bryant to take part in “Women in Finance” – a panel discussion that will be moderated by Savannah Miles ’19, co-founder of Smart Women in Finance, a new student organization on campus.
