U.S.-China Institute and Confucius Institute offer Chinese language classes in fall 2016

SMITHFIELD, RI — The U.S.-China Institute and Confucius Institute at Bryant University offer beginning-level, non-credit Chinese language classes for the community. These student-centered classes combine language skill practice with the focus on the commonly used vocabularies and practical conversations, and will offer an introduction to cultural knowledge.

These classes are taught by U.S.-China Institute visiting scholars from China University of Geosciences (Wuhan) who have extensive experience in teaching Chinese to those who are not native speakers. 

Chinese for Young Learners - Beginning

  • Dates:  Every Wednesday, 5:30p.m.-6:30p.m., September 21 to December 14, for 12 weeks,
    (No class on November 24)
  • Location:  Bryant Campus 

Chinese for Young Learners - Beginning Plus

  • Dates:  Every Monday, 5:30p.m.-6:30p.m., September 19 to December 12, for 12 weeks,
    (No class on October 10)
  • Location:  Bryant Campus 

Chinese for Adults - Beginning

  • Dates:  Every Tuesday, 6:00p.m.-7:00p.m., September 20 to December 13, for 12 weeks,
    (No class on November 22)
  • Location:  Bryant Campus
