Bryant CEO hosts entrepreneurship conference

More than 150 aspiring entrepreneurs from colleges and universities throughout the Northeast will come to Bryant to learn skills they can immediately apply to their careers at the Bryant University Northeast Entrepreneurship Conference (BUNEEC) on February 20. This is the Bryant University Collegiate Entrepreneurs Organization’s (CEO) fifth annual conference.

Students will participate in interactive competitions and breakout sessions that allow students to dive deeper into topics of interest.

The conference also features several inspiring keynote speakers including:

  • Jenna Atkinson, personal branding consultant featured in Success Magazine , The Huffington Post and IN Business Magazine;
  • Darren Lacroix ’88, author, comedian, and founder of The Humor Institute, Inc. Lacroix won the 2001 World Championship of Public Speaking, besting 25,000 other contestants;
  • Marques Ogden, former NFL offensive lineman, author, and motivational speaker.

The conference is free for Bryant students and discounted for college students, alumni, high school students, and groups of five or more. Registration beings at 9 a.m. The conference will be held in the Heidi and Walter Stepan Grand Hall of the George E. Bello Center for Information and Technology.

Bryant CEO informs, supports, and inspires students to be entrepreneurial and to seek opportunity through enterprise creation. The group works toward this goal by facilitating entrepreneurial workshops, seminars, conferences, and competitions. The Bryant chapter has won National Best Chapter in five of the last nine years.
