Muccino has been involved with WJMF since his freshman year and has served as the General Manager for the last three years. His desire to get involved on campus is rooted in his commitment to giving back to the University. The accolades are just the icing on the cake. "It is nice to be recognized in front of your peers and faculty," he said.
The award is given annually to a student from one of the four media organizations at Bryant: The Archway (student newspaper), The Ledger (yearbook), WJMF, 88.7 FM or the Media Production group. In order to be considered, students must have been involved with the organization for the full academic year and maintain good academic and judicial standing.
Along with the other presidents of the four main media clubs, Muccino helped to bring the groups together and work collaboratively. "The students involved in these organizations work hard, day and night, and we are very proud of the work they've accomplished this year," said Meagan Sage, assistant director of student activities and advisor to the Archway, Ledger and WJMF.
