A Concentration

Accounting is much more than just crunching numbers. Accountants play a crucial role in the success of all businesses and must be versed in a complete range of business functions and communication skills to excel.

The Accounting concentration within the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration includes nine courses of in-depth study in the field of accounting, to complement the business and liberal arts core.

Studying Accounting at Bryant

An understanding of accounting principles is critical to a range of fields including accounting, finance, taxation, and information systems.

The Accounting concentration offers students the depth and breadth of a nationally-renowned accounting program and the flexibility to address all areas of the accounting profession.

Small classes with accomplished faculty provide accounting concentrators with close, personal attention and expert guidance. Bryant students can tackle complicated auditing cases and detailed financial reports knowing that one-on-one help is always available.

Courses

Students in the Accounting concentration must complete the following concentration requirements:

  • Financial Reporting I
  • Financial Reporting II
  • Cost Management
  • Accounting Information Systems
  • Corporate Taxation OR Individual Taxation
  • Auditing Concepts
  • Three (3) Accounting Electives
