EntrepreneurshipA Concentration and Minor Entrepreneurs are driven, hard working individuals anxious to take advantage of opportunities and face the challenges that lead to success. At Bryant, entrepreneurship students will enhance their ambition with an understanding of the strategic, tactical, and analytic traits necessary to make sound business decisions for starting new enterprises or revitalizing mature organizations. The Entrepreneurship concentration within the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration includes six courses of in-depth study to complement the business and liberal arts core. The Entrepreneurship minor requires four courses that offer an understanding of this dynamic field. Studying Entrepreneurship at BryantSuccessful entrepreneurs demonstrate a blend of innovation and research, leadership and personnel management, marketing and selling, and financial abilities. Perfecting these qualities becomes more rewarding and more difficult as global change shapes business strategies and expands the market for your enterprise. The Entrepreneurship concentration and minor offers students the skills and depth of knowledge to shepherd global resources to achieve an organization's objectives. Small classes with accomplished faculty, many of whom are entrepreneurs themselves, provide students with close, personal attention, and expert guidance. The entrepreneurship curriculum builds on the highly successful BUS 101 core coursework, while using ENT 300-level courses to broaden a student's understanding of the necessary business areas. The capstone sequence, ENT 481 and ENT 482, leverage the BUS 101 base, as well as work in ENT 300-level courses.
