Bryant University. The Character of Success

French

A Concentration and a Minor

French is one of the official languages of the United Nations and is spoken by over 200 million people throughout the world.

The French concentration and minor offers an advanced level of proficiency in the language, as well as a strong understanding of the cultures of France and French-speaking societies.  The french concentration is six courses or 18 credits and complements either a concentration in the College of Business or a major in the College of Arts and Science.  Four courses are required for the minor.

Studying French at Bryant

The ability to speak another language not only opens doors when visiting or working in French-speaking countries, but it also offers cultural insights that can expand personal perspectives.  French is the language of government, law, management, and business in many regions of the international community.
