Bryant University. The Character of Success

Management

A Concentration and Minor

A career in management is defined by expert leadership and the ability to adapt business practices to changes in technology, globalization, marketplace needs, and cultural, gender, and racial diversity.

The Management concentration within the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration includes six courses of in-depth study in the field of management, to complement the business and liberal arts core.

The Management minor requires four courses which offer an understanding of complex managerial issues that corporations face today.

Studying Management at Bryant

Being a leader in today’s complex, global environment brings many challenges.  The Management concentration and minor prepares students to move their company ahead of the competition by successfully mobilizing and coordinating resources, all while keeping a close eye on the bottom line.

Students debate managerial decisions with passionate faculty, in small classes. Focus is placed on the everyday aspects of management—planning, organizing, motivating, leading, and controlling behavior—and the ethical practices necessary to be accountable in an organization.
