Master Peer Tutors

Luke Bornheimer

I am a senior from Cambridge, MA and I have a passion for math or anything to do with numbers, as well as U.S. politics. I believe that ACE and Peer Tutors function as a medium between students and their coursework. We can put a new spin on material that might have been hard to understand coming from their professor's mouth. I am a Finance major with minors in Applied Statistics and Political Science. I look forward to seeing you at ACE.

 

 

Kevin Hauver

I am a junior with a major in Accounting and a minor in Economics. This is my second semester tutoring these two subjects at ACE. I have greatly enjoyed helping Bryant students. I am in the Accounting Association, on the Ultimate Frisbee club, and play intramural soccer and basketball. I hope to graduate with a Master of Professional Accountancy degree and work for one of the Big Four, eventually moving into a successful career as a tax accountant or auditor.

 

 

Cornelia Li

I am a senior double majoring in Actuarial Mathematics and International Business (with a concentration in Finance) and minoring in Communication. This is my third year working at ACE. I tutor Math, Finance and Chinese. I love traveling around the world and learning different cultures. I have studied abroad in Japan and Ireland.

 

 

Laura Lussier

I am an Actuarial Math major with minors in Business Administration and Psychology and I commute from Lincoln, RI.  I’ve been tutoring since my sophomore year and am now a senior.  I enjoy taking pictures, going to concerts, and I love animals. I tutor in Economics and Math.

I am a senior Accounting major with a minor in Sociology from Torrington, CT.  You can find me in the Accounting lab. I also tutor Sociology, Political Science and History by appointment.

Melissa Allen

I am a junior an Economics major with a double minor in Communications and Marketing. I tutor Economics and decided to become a tutor because I had two great professors and want to show other students that it can be an enjoyable subject. I am also in Bryant Helps.  Bryant offers many great opportunities and I think it’s important for everyone to take advantage of them.

 

 

Jackie Ammirato

 I am a sophomore from Long Island, NY majoring in Accounting with an Economics minor. I tutor accounting, economics and math.  I hope to see you in ACE!

 

 

Alphonse Asare

I am a junior Accounting major with a minor in French from Ghana on the west coast of Africa. I tutor in Micro and Macroeconomics. Several experiences have influenced me greatly to make me what I am today. These consist mainly of cultural norms and values as I switched from one environment to the other. I am currently learning to play the keyboard and enjoy listening to gospel music from all parts of the world.

 

 

Sihao Cao

I am a Sophomore Business Administration major with a dual concentration in Economics and Finance and a minor in Chinese. I am bilingual (English and Chinese) and can tutor Principles of Micro- and Macroeconomics, Math, and Chinese. I enjoy helping others who may find a particular subject difficult to understand. Donna Chan Wah Hak

I am a junior majoring in Actuarial Mathematics with a double minor in Business Administration and Economics. I am also fluent in French. I come from a small tropical island in the Indian Ocean called Mauritius. I am a Peer Tutor at ACE and my main areas of expertise are Mathematics, Accounting, French, and Economics. I hope to see you in ACE!

 

 

Daniel Cournoyer

I am a sophomore majoring in Accounting and minoring in Mathematics.  I play men's tennis and squash for Bryant. You can find me tutoring a variety of Math courses, Accounting, and Economics.

 

 

Ingrid Covaci

I am a sophomore International Business major. I am German, born in Romania (in Dracula’s hometown) but I attended high school in Italy. I tutor math and Italian. I discovered the many benefits of ACE as a freshman and especially as an international student. Therefore I believe that everyone should take advantage of it. It will pay off, guaranteed!

 

 

Yimeng (Kiko) Dai

I am a senior and originally come from China. I am majoring in Finance and minoring in Communication. I am a Peer Tutor at ACE helping students with Chinese. I have a passion to help others with Chinese as a second language.

I am a junior from South Windsor, CT.  I am double majoring in Actuarial Mathematics and Environmental Science.  I tutor a plethora of math courses.

 

 

Natalie DiPaola

I am a senior majoring in Accounting and minoring in Legal Studies. I tutor Mathematics and Statistics; specifically E105, E106, and Statistics 201. Tutoring has been a wonderful experience, because I have met many fellow students that I work with on a regular basis. In addition to tutoring, I spend my time studying, playing sports, reading, and with friends.

 

 

Andriana Evangelista

I am a sophomore from Plainville, CT.  I am an Actuarial Mathematics major with a minor in Business Administration.  I work as a peer tutor in the subjects of Math and Economics and also work as an Office Assistant at ACE.  When I’m not working, I am involved with Colleges Against Cancer and playing rugby.

 

 

Tracey Gant

I am a senior majoring in Business Management and double minoring in Literary and Cultural Studies and Communication. I tutor Math, Accounting, and Finance. I am also the President of Big Sisters and on the executive board of The Archway. I think that you need to make the best of your college experience and get as involved as possible so you can take the most away.

 

 

Starr Hawkins

I am a senior and have been tutoring for the past three years. I love to help other people. I love math and pretty much anything with numbers. I am an Accounting major and a Communication minor. This is my second year being a Peer Tutor at ACE and I tutor math, accounting, statistics, and biology. 

 

 

Rachel Hylan

I am a senior Accounting major with a minor in Legal Studies. I am a member of Delta Zeta sorority and the Order-of-Omega Honors Society. I am a new tutor this year and I am looking forward to helping students with their accounting studies!

 

 

Yueying Jiang

I am a senior in the Honors Program with a dual concentration in Accounting and Economics. The subjects I tutor include Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Principals of Finance, Introduction to Microeconomics, and Introduction to Macroeconomics.

 

 

Tom Lapinski

I am a junior from Garden City, NY.  I’m currently majoring in Actuarial Mathematics and minoring in Business Administration. I tutor Financial Accounting and a number of math courses.  I have a passion for math and like having the opportunity to help others.

 

 

Scott Lemos

I am a senior double-majoring in Finance and Economics.  I have tutored at ACE for two years now and love every minute of it. I believe that all students have the ability to reach their full potential, and we here at ACE are just here as a catalyst to make sure they can reach that potential. I am a senior Actuarial Math major with a second concentration in Economics and a minor in Business Administration. I work at ACE as a Peer Tutor in Economics and Math. I’m also a member of Bryant Christian Fellowship and the webmaster for the Bryant Debaters.

 

 

Jason Orne

I am a senior majoring in Actuarial Mathematics and minoring in Economics from Easthampton, MA. I am a peer tutor at ACE for mathematics and economics. I have taken all of the actuarial classes except life contingencies 1 and 2, and Pensions analysis. I am also through principals and intermediate Micro and Macro.

I am a senior Actuarial Math major from Milford, CT. I tutor math, mostly calculus. I'm also an Office Assistant.

 

 

Luke Stankiewicz

This is my first year as a peer tutor at ACE. I write for the Archway and am involved with the BCF. I tutor Finance (my major) and Spanish. I believe ACE is a valuable resource, which is what motivated me to get on board and help others. I hope one day to be a CFA or maybe even a CFO. Until then, drop by ACE and see me no matter what the problem is.

 

 

Nikole Such

I am a senior Management major with a double minor in Marketing and Psychology. I tutor in Math, Accounting and Finance. Outside of ACE, I play Lacrosse for Bryant and am also involved in SHRM. If you need anything, come see me any time!

 

 

Patrick Tartaro

I am a sophomore Finance major from Long Island, NY. I tutor Economics and math. I love to play all sports especially football and baseball. I am also involved with the Bryant Outdoor Adventure Club, Ski and Snowboard Club, and am a member of many intramural sports teams. Brian Waddell

I am a junior Business Administration major with a concentration in Management and a minor in Economics and Literary and Cultural Studies. I tutor Micro and Macroeconomics. My philosophy is that every student has a different learning style and I try to tailor each session to each student’s needs. I often place the student into a leadership role in a company, ask them how they would handle a given situation, and then apply the economic terminology to their actions. 

 

 

Amanda Zagame

I am a junior majoring in Applied Mathematics and Statistics with a double minor in Business Administration and American History. I commute from Bellingham, MA (about a half-hour from Bryant) and work off-campus as well, so I understand how important it is to have good time management skills. I tutor Calculus, Statistics, and Finance 101. My philosophy is “all the book smarts in the world mean nothing, if you don’t have the common sense to use them.”
