AACSB AccreditationAccreditation by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International represents the highest standard of achievement for business schools. Bryant University’s College of Business earned this distinction in 1994, joining only 5% of institutions worldwide that have achieved this hallmark of excellence. To achieve accreditation business programs must satisfy the expectations of a wide range of quality standards relating to strategic management of resources, interactions of faculty and students in the educational process, and achievement of learning goals in degree programs. Institutions must also confirm their commitment to quality and continuous improvement through vigorous and comprehensive peer review. Accredited institutions maintain their accredited status by undergoing reviews every five years. Bryant’s College of Business will have its next review in the fall of 2008. In preparation for this review the College has prepared a fifth year maintenance report, along with supporting documents on assurance of learning, faculty qualifications, and a five-year compilation of annual reports.
