QUALITY IMPROVEMENT

The “Business” of Quality

Do it Right, Do It Better

Quality is not magic, it is a science. When implemented properly, can impact the quality of a product or service, by correcting a defect or streamlining a process. Bryant’s approach to quality is to educate to empower - individuals and organizations. Learn and apply best practices using the quality tools and techniques, to drive performance. Doing things right and doing them better can improve the bottom line and improve customer satisfaction, of any business, for profit or not for profit, public or private.

Customers experience a business as a system of key business processes. These key processes typically stretch across several vertical organizational silos.  Quality practices focus on the integration and flow of each key business process between departments to create a seamless operation. Reengineering represents an approach of improvement through radical change versus. incremental, continuous improvement.

The science of quality is facilitated through the following Bryant courses and certificate programs:

  • Project Management - Effective planning and management of cross-functional initiatives
  • Business Analysis - Understanding, documenting, and gaining agreement of requirements
  • Lean Six Sigma - Provides an infrastructure framework for performance improvements
  • Lean Thinking - Provides an organized approach to increased speed of delivering customer value by reducing waste
  • Business Process Management - The study of viewing the enterprise as a series of end-to-end business processes directly linked to customers and value
  • Business Continuity Planning - Ensures the continuation of a business’s ability to provide customer value under unforeseen adverse operating conditions

Quality initiatives help organizations measure and manage processes to reduce cost and improve results.  In order to maintain a competitive advantage organizations also need to continue to improve the way they do business, retain, and manage their talent pool, and apply new best practice models, quickly.

All courses are available on campus or online as well as onsite for groups.
