REGISTRATION ERRORS

You may encounter one or more of the following holds and/or error. To insure that the registration process runs smoothly, please check your account for holds and clear them up prior to the start of registration.

If you encounter any Additional holds or errors that permit you from registering, please contact the appropriate office immediately.

Preq and Test Score Error

What it means:

• You have not fulfilled the prerequisite courses required.  You must fulfill all of the prerequisite courses prior to registration.
  
  
• The course has a co-requisite linked to it.  You must register for both courses assigned to your cohort this semester. 
   
• Multiple course sections are being offered.  You must register for the section assigned to your cohort. 

Bursar Hold

What it means:

• You have an outstanding balance on your student account.  Contact the Bursar’s Office directly at (401) 232-6030.
  
  

Director's Hold

What it means:

• You are prohibited from registering for academic reasons. Contact the Graduate School Office directly at (401) 232-6230.
