MST PROGRAM DESCRIPTION The Bryant MST is designed with the working professional in mind. All courses in the program allow students to learn about important technical tax issues and apply what they learn immediately. One of the advantages of the MST program is that all of the courses focus on taxation. Introductory courses cover individual and corporate taxation, partnerships, and estates and lay the foundation for more technical electives that follow. The program format allows for students to build an expertise in the area of taxation that best fits their career interests. Benefits of the Program
MST graduates have gone on to become partners of their firms or, in many cases, started their own consulting firms. Course ScheduleThe MST program is offered in the evening and students typically enroll in one or two courses per semester. Each course meets one evening per week from 6 - 9 p.m. (fall/spring) and 6 - 9:30 (summer). The MST courses are offered three semesters per year, fall, spring and summer and while some students elect to take a leave of absence during tax season, many stay continuously enrolled. You may even complete the program from off-campus in real time by utilizing distance-spanning technology. |
