The part-time schedule of the Bryant MST offers flexibility for working professionals.

MST PROGRAM
SCHEDULE

The MST program requires 10 courses or 30 credits for completion. While there is no requirement for students to have a background in accounting or taxation to be successful, at least two years of professional experience is recommended for students considering the MST.

The curriculum consists of 3 components:

Group 1: Required courses (all courses required)

TAX600 Individual Income Taxation

TAX610 Corporations and Shareholders

TAX615 Estate and Gift Taxation

TAX625 Partnership Income Tax Problems

Group 2: Required courses (students choose two from the following)

TAX605 Sales and Exchanges

TAX620 Tax Practice and Procedure

TAX640 Advanced Income Tax Problems

TAX676 State Taxation

Group 3: Electives (students choose four from the following)

TAX672 Income Taxation of Trusts and Estates

TAX673 Pension and Profit Sharing

TAX674 Corporate Reorganizations

TAX675 Business Tax Planning

TAX677 Estate Planning

Additional courses from group 2 may be used to satisfy the elective requirement in Group 3.
