Web Registration Computer Usage Policy
Students are expected to exercise responsible ethical behavior when utilizing the University's web registration system as outlined in the Student Handbook and the Bryant Technology Resources Acceptable Use Policy. The registration priority structure is intended to be fair to all students. Students are expected to register for themselves at their appointed day and time and to only enroll in those courses that they intend to complete. Registering for courses for any other intent is a clear violation of Bryant University Policy. As stated in the Student Handbook and the Computer Usage Policy, "knowingly furnishing false information to the University" and "unauthorized use of another person's account" is a matter of personal integrity and a serious offense. Students who attempt to undermine the registration priority process by registering for courses that they themselves do not intend to complete are in clear violation of this University policy – Level Two Offense. Violating these rules and regulations can result in sanctions ranging from reprimands through permanent dismissal from the University.
"Students must accept their obligations as citizens of the Bryant community and expect to be held accountable for behavior as individuals and members of groups." – Bryant Principles, Undergraduate Course Catalog, Page 8.
