Fall 2012 Registration

Registration for the upcoming fall semester is upon us!

Please go to the link below for information regarding Fall 2012 registration dates as well as important guidelines for preparing ahead of time.

Be sure to schedule an appointment with your Academic Advisor prior to your registration date to discuss course options.  You can schedule an appointment by calling the office at 401-232-6210.

 

 Degree Exploration Fair

Are you undeclared? Would you like to learn more about a specific degree program?

Come to the Degree Exploration Fair! Wednesday, April 4th from 10-2 in the Rotunda!


At the Degree Exploration Fair, you can learn all there is to know about majors, concentrations and minors. Professors from each department will be available to discuss academic programs and specific degree requirements. Official declaration forms will be available to allow you to officially declare your chosen area of study.

Please note, not all courses on the master list are available each semester.  You should search for Modes of Thought & Humanities options through Banner for a more accurate listing.

 
 

The staff in the Undergraduate Advising Office is committed to providing high quality academic advising and registration services to all undergraduate students, assisting them in the development of their educational plans. To carry out this mission, the staff has identified a set of core principles by which we operate.
  • To help students develop an educational plan consistent with their life goals and objectives
  • To monitor students' progress toward identified goals and objectives
  • To provide academic support through various initiatives and campus-wide programs
  • To design, develop, and deliver registration activities to support a wide range of undergraduate academic programs
  • To interpret and administer University policies and procedures
  • To aid students in the pursuit of various avenues of study
  • To support students in their quest for academic excellence
  • To refer students to relevant academic, social, and personal resources
The Undergraduate Advisors subscribe to the philosophy that academic advising is a collaboration among the faculty, professional advisors and students. Students are encouraged to become active participants in the advising process and to share responsibility for clarifying goals and educational planning. Faculty and academic advisors are available to assist students in this endeavor.
