What grade-point-average (GPA) is required to be in good academic standing?

Students must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.000.

Students must have a major GPA of 2.000.

Students must have a minor GPA of 2.000.

How does a student declare or change his/her major?
Students must meet with an academic advisor in the Undergraduate Advising Office. Contact 232-6210 to schedule an appointment.

What GPA is required to make the Dean's List?

Traditional students
If you earn a semester GPA of 3.200 or higher, and if you have completed a minimum of 12 credit hours, your name will be included on the Dean's List.

Nontraditional students
At the end of the Spring semester, if you have completed 12 credit hours within the academic year (Fall & Spring), and if you have earned a GPA of 3.200, your name will appear on the Dean's List.

Where do I get a copy of my academic transcript?
Official transcripts can be requested in the Office of Academic Records, MRC202, 232-6080.
