  • How do I schedule an appointment with my academic advisor?

    The best way to schedule an appointment with your academic advisor is to call the front desk at 401-232-6210.
     
  • What grade-point-average (GPA) is required to be in good academic standing?
     
    • Students must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.000.
    • Students must have a major GPA of 2.000.
    • Students must have a minor GPA of 2.000.
       
  • How does a student declare or change his/her major?

    Students must meet with an academic advisor in the Undergraduate Advising Office. Contact 232-6210 to schedule an appointment.
     
  • What GPA is required to make the Dean's List?
     
    • Traditional students

      If you earn a semester GPA of 3.200 or higher, and if you have completed a minimum of 12 credit hours, your name will be included on the Dean's List.
       
    • Nontraditional students

      At the end of the Spring semester, if you have completed 12 credit hours within the academic year (Fall & Spring), and if you have earned a GPA of 3.200, your name will appear on the Dean's List.
       
  • Where do I get a copy of my academic transcript?

    Official transcripts can be requested in the Office of Academic Records, MRC202, 232-6080.
