Bryant University. The Character of Success

Post-Graduation Options

Do you know what you are going to do after you graduate?  Whether you want to work or go to grad school, it is important to plan ahead.  Any decisions you are making do not have to be made alone.  Do not hesitate to discuss your options with your academic advisor, the faculty members in your area(s) of interest or the Amica Center.

Working after College

There are many things that the Amica Center can assist you with, so that you are best prepared for getting a job after graduation.  Here are some of the resources/opportunities that all seniors should be taking advantage of:

  • Attend the Career Fair
  • Learn how to write a Cover Letter
  • Finalize your Resume
  • Practice your Interview Skills

Senior-Year Internship

One way to enhance your resume and increase your ability to get a job after graduation is to do an internship during your senior year.

  • Meet with your academic advisor to discuss the requirements for doing an internship for academic credit.
  • Visit the Amica Center to research the internship opportunities that are available to you or create your own!

Graduate School

Not everyone plans to work full-time after they graduate. Many students want or need to get their Masters degree in order to be more successful in their field.  If you are interested in exploring graduate school options, you can discuss this with your academic advisor, faculty members or the Amica Center. It is important to get an early start, so that you do not miss application deadlines!
