Audio Visual Services

Instructional Media (also known as AV) offers audio-visual services to the Bryant Community by delivering, setting up, and operating Audio Visual equipment throughout the Unistructure. Set ups outside the Unistructure will be made by special request. Please observe the following:

We are located in Room 277 in the Unistructure x6128. For hours of operation please go to AV Hours.

All requests must be made with at least 24 hours notice.

Equipment is available on a first come first serve basis - due to limited number of items available. So please book your equipment needs early in the semester.

Equipment

Although all the classrooms and many of the meeting spaces come with a standard AV setup including projection, a PC, laptop hookups, sound amplification, and DVD/VHS playback capabilities. The Instructional Media Department also offers the Bryant Community a large variety of other equipment:

  • Multimedia Carts which can include:
    - Laptop Computers
    - PC Computers
    -LCD Video Projectors
    - DVD/VHS Player
  • Portable Data Projectors
  • Document Cameras
  • Video Cameras
  • Laptops

This list reflects the most commonly used pieces of equipment. If you need something that is not on this list please call Roger Acosta or Jason Gregg at ext. 6128.

Videos

We would like to let you know that Bryant University is migrating to video on demand (VOD) delivery of AV materials. Our VOD collection is available at: http://vbrick.bryant.edu

The University also has a physical collection of materials which is searchable via the HELIN Libraries Catalog. These materials are available by request only for use in the classroom or for viewing at multimedia stations located on the second floor of the library building. The collection is located in the library for your convenience.  Items requested online will be delivered to your office.  Delivery is once per day, Monday-Friday.  A listing of audio-visual (AV) materials available in the library is available on HELIN.
