Bryant University. The Character of Success
CAMPUS ALERTS FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Rising juniors in possession of the T410 model laptop have until May 31st to decide whether they wish to exchange (or buyout for $350.00) their current model for either a T430 or X230 model laptop.

Both the T430 and X230 are full-powered laptops, and come with a 2.6 GHz Core i5 processor, 320 GB hard drive, and 4GB of memory.

The X230 is a thin and light machine, with a 12.5" IPS screen, long lasting battery (up to 8 hours), and weighs 2 lbs. less than our current traditional laptop.  It does, however, lack a CD/DVD burner.

The T430 is a improvement in all areas over the current T410, most notably in its 1GB graphics card and high resolution (1600x900) screen.

Full hardware details and discussion of the two models can be found here.

Demonstration models are currently at Laptop Central, and we urge students to come in and test out their potential laptop!  Students who wish to receive the X230 will need to notify Laptop Central via email at laptopcentral @ bryant.edu by May 31st. Students who want the T430 model laptop need take no action.
