Kristen Marie Hatch Memorial

Kristen Hatch was a Bryant junior when she was hit and killed by a drunk driver as she jogged along Route 116 in April 1990. After her death, the Smithfield Lions Club organized the Kristen Hatch Memorial Road Race with all proceeds from the race to go to an endowed memorial scholarship fund established in her name for Bryant students by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. David Hatch.

Kristen's memorial is located in front of Residence Hall 7. The plaque reads:

"In dedication to Kristen Marie Hatch
1969-1990
We all love you.
Your memory will live in our hearts forever.
Bryant College student body"
