Harry F. Evarts
Harry F. Evarts. Bryant President from 1970-1975
On June 5, 1970, the board of trustees announced that it had chosen Harry Evarts, a dean at Ohio State University, to be Bryant's next president. Evarts, who had a doctorate in business administration from Harvard, had taught at Northwestern University and Ohio State. He had written a book on business management as well as a number of articles and had acquired a national reputation.
