Pay and Benefits
Bryant University is committed to providing employee's with a competitive total compensation package. Total compensation includes an employee's pay (base salary as well as variable pay) and benefits.
Bryant manages pay through a broad-band, market based program. Bryant's pay philosophy is to:
-
manage pay through a simple, clear program that is consistent with the University's strategic and organizational objectives;
-
provide managers with sufficient guidelines to make consistent, appropriate pay decisions while also providing flexibility to meet the business and staffing needs of their areas; and
-
provide the Bryant community with clear, accurate information about the compensation program and how pay is managed.
In addition to competitive pay opportunities, Bryant also provides its employees with a rich, comprehensive benefits package. The benefits package is designed to provide employee's with a number of options, including multiple health and dental offerings, retirement plans, life and long-term disability insurance, flexible spending accounts, and a number of voluntary programs which supplement existing insurance benefits and provide protection from financial hardship, allowing for flexibility in choosing those offerings which are right for an individual and/or their families.
