  
Chinese for Professionals
The U.S.-China Institute at Bryant University in cooperation with the Rhode Island Economic Development Corporation is offering a Chinese language class for professionals by combining language with cultural understanding.
Classes will begin on September 8, 2009 and meet every Tuesday until November 10, 2009 from 5:00 to 7:00pm at the Rhode Island Economic Development Corporation.
What you will learn:

Social phrases including greetings, self-introductions, exchanging business cards and information, and congratulations.

Travel phrases such as finding a taxi, getting directions, and checking-in to a hotel.

Chinese Business Culture
How the class is taught:

Pinyin is used to teach Chinese words and expressions phonetically.

Translations and explanations for grammar are given in English.

Interactive activities such as dialogues, questions and answers, group activities, and role play.
Cost:
The cost of this course is $250.00, plus the cost of books and materials.
