Chinese Language and Culture Summer Program

As part of the National Security Language Initiatives launched in 2006 and funded by multiple federal agencies, the STARTALK Program is designed to expand and improve the teaching and learning of strategically important languages that are not widely taught in the United States, including Chinese.

Bryant University was chosen to host STARTALK Chinese Language and Culture Program in the summer of 2007and 2008. The 2009 summer programs are offered for current and prospective K-12 teachers and middle and high school students:

K-12 Teacher Program: June 29-July 18

Student Program: July 6-18
