Bill Phillips, M.A., Ed. S.
Director
Bill received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Assumption College and a Master's Degree in Counseling from Columbia University. In addition, Bill also received a Sixth-Year Professional Diploma in Counseling Psychology from the University of Connecticut.
In 1980, Bill joined the Bryant community as a counselor and psychology instructor. In August of 1991 Bill was named Director of Counseling Services.
Bill's professional interest is in problem gambling.
On a personal note, Bill has been a high school and college football official for many years. Bill relaxes by cycling, kayaking, and spending time with his family.

Noelle Harris, M.A., LMHC
Assistant Director
Noelle received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology from St. Mary's University of Minnesota. In addition, Noelle sits on the Rhode Island Department of Health Board of Mental Health Counselors and Marriage and Family Therapists.
Before joining the Bryant community, Noelle spent the last six years working as a member of the Johnson and Wales University Counseling staff. She also has a small, private practice in Providence. Her professional interests are Cognitive-Behavioral Treatments, Buddhist Psychology, and Mindfulness.
On a personal note, Noelle enjoys travel, yoga, and design. She relaxes by cooking, being active outdoors, and spending time with her family.

Julie Casey, M.A., Ed.M. LMHC
Counselor
Julie holds a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University. Prior to her time in New York City, Julie graduated from Fairfield University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology.
Before joining the Bryant community, Julie worked locally as a Clinical Specialist for Newport County's Mobile Treatment Team. She has a background in career development from her experience as a counselor at Baruch College in Manhattan.
Julie's professional interests include health psychology as well as multicultural and cross-cultural psychology. She is an adjunct instructor in the Department of Applied Psychology at Bryant. On a personal note, Julie enjoys skiing, running, and traveling. She relaxes by spending time with her family and her new son, Benjamin.

Michele Laferte, Graduate Student Intern
2011-2012 Academic Year
Michele received her Master of Arts in Agency Counseling from Rhode Island College in May 2011, and she is currently working on her Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Mental Health Counseling. She also has degrees in English from Rhode Island College and New Mexico State University, and taught writing at the college level for eight years. She has experience working in outpatient mental health in agency and partial-hospital settings.

Megan Guerrieri, Graduate Student Intern
2011-2012 Academic Year
Megan received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from The University of Massachusetts-Amherst and will graduate this Spring 2012 with a Master's Degree in Counseling from The Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology. She has experience working with adults in both an in-patient and partial hospital setting. Her professional interest is in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT.) On a personal note, Megan enjoys sports, especially volleyball, baking cookies, and spending time with her dog.
