Bryant University. The Character of Success

Entry Control Station Operation

DPS monitors incoming traffic onto the campus 24 hours a day. Vehicles with valid decals are allowed to use the right lane and pass without stopping. Vehicles without a Bryant decal must stop and request a visitor or admissions parking pass and/or receive information. All vehicles must stop when directed by the attending officer.

When entering the campus during the one lane operation all incoming vehicles must use the left lane and stop until signaled to proceed by the attending officer. All persons entering campus may be required to show a valid University ID card. Refusing entry to the campus is at the attending officer's discretion. Vehicles failing to stop at the request of the attending officer are subject to disciplinary action, which may include fines and the loss of parking and driving privileges on campus or ejection.

Student's requesting a guest pass must use the on-line guest pass link available on this page. The completed form is emailed to the ECS and will be presented to the guest upon arrival. Informing the guest of the campus parking and traffic rules is the responsibility of the student host. Each student is allowed only one guest on campus at a time. Guests under the age of 18 must have the permission from the Office of Residence Life to remain on campus overnight. Such permission must be granted no less than three days before the guest arrives. DPS retains the right to refuse access of any guest. The guests pass must remain in plain view on the dashboard of the vehicle.
