Special Permits

The following types of parking permits are available:

Admission Parking

Visitors to the Admission office should stop at the Welcome Station and request an Admission parking pass. The visitor will then be directed to the reserved spaces in the Island lot, in front of the Bryant Center. The pass should be placed in plain view on the rear view mirror, and is valid only on the date (s) indicated. This area is reserved from 8am to 8pm Monday through Friday.

Bryant's Leadership Council Parking (BLC)

Vehicles bearing a BLC permit can park in the reserved BLC area in the Bryant Center Lot, or in the BLC area in the first row of the commuter lot. If all the BLC spaces are in use, the members are to park in general parking. The use of other reserved areas, handicapped spaces, or fire lanes is not permitted, and may result in a citation or the vehicle being towed.

Visitors Parking

Visitors to any department on campus may pick up a visitors hang tag at the Entry Control Station.  This will allow them to park in the visitor spaces in the front row of the main parking lot.  Vehicles parked in this area with a hang tag may be cited and/or towed at owners expense.

Handicapped Parking

Bryant University provides reasonable designated disabled parking for those displaying the appropriate placard. State issued placards are honored on campus provided the placard is appropriately displayed.

Anyone requesting handicapped parking status on campus (who do not have a state issued placard) must submit a licensed physician's letter (on letterhead) indicating the need for disabled parking and the expected duration of the disability. Once approved, a handicapped placard is issued. Please note that the bearer of the handicap placard must also display the "University" parking decal along with the placard.

Any unauthorized vehicle parked in a handicapped space is subject to a citation and immediate tow at the expense of the driver/owner.
