Two of our distinguished campus leaders, Gena and Elicia Wilson also took home Greek Leader of Distinction Awards at the Conference!
Last year the Bryant University Nu Beta Chapter of the Order of Omega was also recognized with the 2005-2006 Outstanding Chapter Award and donated their prize money to buy artwork and supplies for the Academic Center for Excellence. This year the chapter was the only one in the region to get Honorable Mention for that award.
Greek Leadership Council again applied for several awards at NGLA this year and will send a delegation to the conference in February. In addition, Katie Wolper, Mike Barnett and Colleen Powers will be presenting at the conference!
Greek Life Office
Greek Life has one office located across from Residence Life on the 1st floor of Hall 6 and one office on the 3rd floor of the Bryant Center. The Coordinator of Greek Life, Colleen Powers, advises the IFC and Panhellenic Councils, as well as The Order of Omega and GAMMA, plans and implements the New Member Education series that runs during pledging, and acts as a resource to the Greek organizations. Her office is located in hall 15. The Greek Life Office also offers three retreats during the school year, one that is open to general members, one that is open to the Greek Leadership, and one that is for the executive boards.
Each chapter president and executive board member serves at least one office hour per week.
