GAMMA

GAMMA stands for Greeks Advocating the Mature Management of Alcohol. GAMMA provides several activities throughout the year that give students an alternative to drinking. Five students serve as Executive Board officers and two members from each chapter serve as the general membership for this group.

The annual event GAMMA hosts is called Bryant's Best, which takes place during Spring Weekend. During this event, students pay a small fee to enjoy an all-you-can-eat pizza buffet. The pizzas are from many area vendors and students are asked to vote which pizza is the best before they leave. The winning pizza vendor is named Bryant's Best. The 2008 winner was Pepino's Pizza!

The organization meets bi-weekly on Tuesdays at 5 p.m. in Room 2 a/b in the Bryant Center.

GAMMA also co-sponsored with Bryant@night, Peer Educators, and the Office of Residence Life to bring well known Drunk Driving speaker, Mark Sterner, to campus this semester.
