Bryant University. The Character of Success

April 2009: Insights into your child's first year

The Right Fit

A letter from Lorna Hunter, Vice President for Enrollment Management

Dear Parents,

You have purchased the extra-long sheets, Easy Mac, the economy-size laundry detergent, and the excitement for the Bryant Experience is building each day. For the last eighteen years (or so), you have been the one to take care of the scraped knee, root them on, and most importantly provide guidance through life’s ups and downs. From one parent to another, I want to thank you for entrusting Bryant University with your child’s bright future and welcome you to your new extended family, the Bryant family.

Rest assured that your student will receive a well-rounded education and become a valuable member of our tight knit community. The personal relationships that they will establish with faculty will provide them with support not only during that first semester, but throughout all four years as they prepare to be successful in life and their chosen profession.

It’s exciting when you are able to see you child find their “fit” and select their new “home away from home.” I invite you to explore the Parents and Families section on bryant.edu which provides resources and describes some ways that families can choose to stay involved throughout the next four years.

Welcome to the Bulldog family!

Sincerely,

Lorna Hunter
