How to start a new organization

While Bryant has a club for just about everyone, students are welcome to start their own student organizations. All clubs must be approved by the Student Senate and the Center for Student Involvement.

  1. Meet with a professional staff member in the Center for Student Involvement to discuss your proposed group.
    • Proposals for a sports club must also be made to Athletics.
    • A new sorority or fraternity must also be reviewed by Greek Life and the Dean of Students.
  2. Submit the following materials to the Vice President of the Student Senate and the Director of the Center for Student Involvement :
    • A proposed constitution
    • A list of at least five(5) currently enrolled Bryant students interested in becoming members
    • The name of an advisor who is a Bryant faculty or staff member
  3. The proposed constitution will be reviewed and voted on by members of the Student Senate. All materials must be submitted to the Senate at least a week before.
  4. If approved by the Student Senate, the constitution will then go to the Vice President for Student Affairs. If approved, the group becomes a fully recognized student organization.
