FEBRUARY 2012 - Black History Month
Monday, February 6th, 3pm, Bryant Center Pit: from THE RADICAL READER: Radical Speeches by African American Women. Famous speeches given by African American women, read by our own student leaders: Islindy Merius, Sherri Lowe, Fatoumata Diakite, Mariah Springs, Dhara Shah and Adekemi Oyalabu. Co-sponsored with the Intercultural Center.
Through February: Female students are encouraged to stop by the Gertrude Meth Hochberg Women's Center to sign up for the Vagina Monologues. There is absolutely no experience necessary, and performers read the monologues during the show, so there is no memorization required. Come by and read through the monologues, which are on top of our coffee table, sign up and let us know which monologue you would like to perform. It's that easy! The show will be on Tuesday, March 6th at 9:15pm.
