Women on Call Program

The Women on Call (WOC) program is an on-call support network for female and male students at Bryant.  The goal of WOC is to have an on campus resource for students who are victims of  sexual assault, domestic violence, and sexual harassment .

Women on Call Group

The WOC group consists of Bryant staff (six women and one man) who have received training in rape crisis intervention, counseling, and support. They are available to help students understand the options they face in the event of a sexual assault and they will remain wit the student throughout the entire process of addressing and/or adjudicating an incident.

You may call the WOC directly.  You may also ask your RA, RD, DPS or a friend to contact the Women on Call for you. For contact information on these and other resources take a look at our Resources page.

 What happens when I contact the Women on Call?

  • Your call will be confidential
  • You will be able to speak with a female staff member trained in rape crisis prevention, counseling, and support
  • Should you prefer to speak to a man, one will be available
  • If it's necessary for the WOC to come to campus to meet with you she will
  • The WOC will help you decide if you want to go to the hospital and/or police, and if so, she will go with you
  • The WOC will be your advocate in explaining campus sexual assault policies and procedures, and will offer her support through the entire process
