Orientation Program InformationThis exciting two-day program offers a broad overview of life at Bryant University for first-year students. You and your parent(s)/guardian(s) will enjoy meeting other new members of the Bryant family and University staff while participating in sessions that cover a wide range of topics. These sessions have been designed to acquaint you with life at Bryant. Administrative offices will be also fully staffed to answer all of your questions during your visit to campus. Please note: Transfer students are invited to a separate orientation that will be held on Monday, September 5 that is customized to their specific questions and needs. More information will be mailed about this program in August. Complete Your Class ScheduleIn preparation for the fall semester, students will meet in small groups with an academic advisor to learn about the Bryant curriculum and discuss course options. On day two of Orientation, students will finalize their fall schedules. Students who participate in Orientation will leave campus with their fall semester schedule. Students who are unable to attend will be scheduled for fall classes by an academic advisor. ReservationsTo reserve your place at Orientation, please register online. Center for Student Involvement The registration fee for students is $85, which includes all meals plus housing and linens. All students must stay on campus and will be housed in Residence Hall 15. The registration fee for parents and guardians is $85 per person, which includes meals plus housing and linens. You will stay in the suite-style residence halls in private bedrooms, and share bathroom facilities and the living room area with one other set of parents. Parents who would prefer to stay off campus should make their own arrangements. Please visit www.bryant.edu/accommodations, call us at (401) 232-6160, or write to the Center for Student Involvement for a list of local accommodations. The Orientation registration fee is $70 per person if you do not stay on campus. Depending on the distance you are traveling, you may find it difficult to arrive by 8:30 a.m. on the first day of Orientation. If you need to arrive the night before your session, please indicate this on the online form, or on the registration card if you choose to register by mail. The additional cost for early arrival is $20 per person and includes housing, linens, and breakfast. Check-in for early arrivals is scheduled from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. in the main lounge of Residence Hall 15. In order for us to make the appropriate plans for all early arrivals, please notify us of your plans five days in advance, either in writing or by e-mail at csi@bryant.edu.
