
Ryan Marnane
Associate Fellow with the University's Center for Teaching Excellence and Lecturer with the Department of English and Cultural Studies, Ryan Marnane received his Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Humanities from Salve Regina University in 2018. His research and teaching interests remain interdisciplinary, drawing on literary studies, philosophy of technology, the environmental humanities, and the scholarship of teaching and learning. His current research explores inclusive assessment and grading practice, ecopedagogy, electronic narratives, and the business person/a in contemporary literature. In addition to his research and teaching, Marnane organizes and facilitates various Faculty Learning Communities, co-advises the University chapter of Delta Alpha Pi (International Honors Society for Students with Disabilities), and remains active in fostering inclusive teaching and learning across campus. He enjoys a game of ping-pong, prefers trains over planes, and is learning how to read music and play the piano.
