Graduate Certificate in Sports and Strategic Communication
The Sports and Strategic Communication Certificate provides emerging and seasoned professionals with the skills they need to navigate the growing field of athletic and brand messaging.

Program Overview
The Certificate in Sports and Strategic Communication will provide a graduate-level education through a four-course, asynchronous online program. Students will learn how to design campaigns targeted toward brand promotion or behavior change, understand how to interact with and promote agendas to various public groups, engage in conflict resolution and negotiation tactics, and utilize digital media to construct effective and purposeful messaging.
This certificate is designed for emerging professionals who are interested in the public image, promotion, or brand creation of athletes and athletic organizations, as well as those working with athletes or athletic organizations at the youth, college, semi-professional, or professional levels.
