Bryant’s team and project management program gives you plenty of opportunities to build your professional network through internships, practicums, and co-curricular opportunities. Participate in Bryant chapters of Collegiate DECA, the Collegiate Entrepreneurs’ Organization, Enactus, and Omicron Delta Kappa — all national organizations that prepare emerging management leaders through events and competitions. You’ll also network with the Rhode Island Chapter of Project Managers and make connections to keep throughout your career journey.

About This Program

Today’s dynamic business environment needs more innovative project managers in nearly every field. All projects — regardless of the industry — require planning, directing, resource management, and problem-solving. As a team and project management major, you’ll learn the tools and techniques of end-to-end project management and develop analytical skills to collect and interpret data. You’ll also hone your communication skills to work with teams and present critical information to clients. Solve realistic problems using case studies and learn how to develop detailed project plans in Microsoft Project for Windows.

During your senior year, you’ll collaborate with a team of students to create and execute a business plan for a major company or nonprofit organization. This real-world experience, along with your professional connections, will set you up for a wide variety of career opportunities.

Participate in faculty-supervised internships that earn course credit, provide hands-on experience, and allow you to make valuable networking connections. These semester-long internships give you the opportunity to apply the skills and knowledge you learn in the classroom in a real-world environment and gain critical experience that will set you apart from your peers.

Preparing students for professional exams is one of our top priorities. Our rigorous curriculum will give you a solid foundation for the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) Exam — a prestigious professional project management certification — which you’ll take prior to graduation. Together with your degree, this valuable certification will help you feel confident as you start your new career.
