Bryant, Bentley partner on analytics conference April 1
Bryant University is partnering with Bentley University on April 1 to sponsor the inaugural Analytics without Borders Conference on the campus of Bentley University. The conference is a forum for the analytics community to discuss their work. Sessions will include a blend of corporate, academic and government researchers and practitioners.
The conference will feature two keynote speakers:
- John Smits, Chief Data Officer, Business Operations and Senior Director, Digital Transformation of EMC Corp. Smits will host a panel titled “Analytics Without Borders: Corporate and Academic Pathways.”
- Deirdre M. Heisler, Director, Analytic Consulting, Epsilon Corporation. Heisler will discuss "Uplift Modeling Using SAS Enterprise Miner."
Bryant University offers applied analytics as an 18-credit interdisciplinary concentration which provides students with a solid foundation in integrating technology and analytical methods to acquire, analyze and apply information for research, decision making and organizational effectiveness. Bryant also offers a graduate certificate in business analytics which focuses on the application of analytics to practical problems.
