Steve Forbes Will Address Bryant Northeast Entrepreneurship Conference

SMITHFIELD, RI – Bryant University’s Collegiate Entrepreneurs’ Organization (CEO) will host the seventh annual Bryant University Northeast Entrepreneurship Conference (BUNEEC) on Saturday, March 3 from                  11 a.m. to 6 p.m. 

One of the region’s largest educational events for young entrepreneurs, BUNEEC is expected to draw more than 500 students from colleges and universities throughout the Northeast. It is open to the public. Registration is free for Bryant students, $30 for students from other colleges and universities, $35 for high school students, and $55 for the general public.

The program will feature four keynote speakers, each with a unique story and entrepreneurial perspective. There are also a number of breakout sessions on such topics as turning failure into triumph, structuring a new enterprise for success, grassroots entertainment entrepreneurship, and inspiring stories about starting and succeeding in business.

Steve Forbes, chairman and editor-in-chief of Forbes Media and bestselling author, is a keynote speaker. Mr. Forbes is an internationally respected authority in the worlds of economics, finance, and corporate leadership. His keen ability to provide economic insights on the big issues of the day has been trusted by business leaders around the world. At BUNEEC, Forbes will address the current economic situation and provide insights and strategic advice for business growth and success.

BUNEEC's other keynote speakers are: Craig Dubitsky, founder and CEO of Hello, a new kind of naturally friendly™ oral care company and Dan MacCombie, entrepreneur in residence at Dev Equity and co-founder of Runa, an NYC-based social enterprise that brews beverages from guayusa tea.

Breakout session speakers include Marques Ogden, a former NFL offensive lineman who found success as a motivational speaker and marketing leader; and LGC+D/LeveragedSolutions’ Managing Director Susan Keller, whose quarter-century of strategic business and legal expertise has helped innovative business ventures and young entrepreneurs to thrive. The program includes smaller breakout sessions and workshops.
