Orientation is the best way to prepare for your life as a Bryant Bulldog and the first step toward being successful and informed while at Bryant University. We look forward to making your transition into our close-knit community a rewarding and fun opportunity.
The New Student Pathway Experience for you and your family includes programs designed to address aspects of college life that impact students during their first year. This year, orientation will consist of five parts:
The virtual sessions in June will be Zoom chats and interactive presentations guided by our student Orientation Leaders, who will also help you register for your fall semester classes. You’ll meet and spend time getting to know our acclaimed faculty, hear from student and staff panels, learn more about academics and campus life, chat with student leaders from student organizations, and enter to win Bryant gear.

Yes! We have found that family members who attend the program benefit as much as the students. We understand that there can be a mix of feelings and concerns about a student’s success at college, and families go through a transition as well. Bryant's New Student Orientation has a program track designed just for families and parents. Family members will have the opportunity to talk with members of the administration, faculty, and student leaders, and to learn more about student resources. We will offer virtual orientation on both Wednesday, June 17, and Wednesday, June 24, specifically for family members of new students. If you have not received an email to register for one of these two sessions, please email Orientation@bryant.edu and it will be sent to you.
If you are a first-year international and/or domestic multicultural student, you may have been invited to another program in August called 4MILE, a cultural and leadership program featuring workshops, presentations, and activities to jumpstart the transition to Bryant. You will be asked to participate in both virtual orientation as well as 4MILE in the early fall.
Registration for 4MILE opens in early June.
Transfer students have their own Orientation program before the fall semester begins during Welcome Weekend. More information will be sent about this program in August.
Please indicate on the registration form any special needs/accommodations you or a family member may need. Contact us at orientation@bryant.edu with any questions or accommodations.
